The Horse Sport Ireland/Connolly’s RED MILLS Spring Tour features a double bill of action this weekend, with rounds ten and eleven taking place simultaneously this Sunday, north and south of the border.
Â
Kernan’s Equestrian Centre in Co Armagh has attracted a start – list of 41 horses and riders for the Glencarron Nursing home sponsored competition, which begins at 3.30pm. League leader Daniel Coyle from Derry and third placed Conor McEneaney from Armagh, have unsurprisingly opted to stay close to home and will line out at Kernan’s hoping to add to their points tally.
Â
Meanwhile Galway’s Thomas O Brien, who lies just two points behind Daniel Coyle in second, has made the tactical decision to head south to the Maryville Stables round of the series in Co Cork. where 35 combinations will line out including Tipperary’s Liam O Meara, who lies in fifth place on the league table following wins at Wexford and Claremorris. The Maryville Stables sponsored competition begins at 3pm on Sunday.
Â
The Horse Sport Ireland/Connollys RED MILLS Spring Tour, is also supported by the Show Jumpers Club, ShowjumpingIreland, Castlefield Sport Horses, Thermatex, Platinum by Harry Dabbs, Darragh Equestrian Solutions, and Jumpinaction.net.
