Following a discrepancy between the HSI/Connolly’s RED MILLS Spring Tour league table published on the ShowJumpingIreland website and table published on the Show Jumpers Club website,

ShowJumpinIreland would like to clarify the current league positions.

 

It is stated in the Spring Tour rules that “National SJI Grand Prix rules shall apply”, as a result Spring Tour league points are allocated as follows.

  

Place     1st         2nd       3rd         4th        5th        6th        7th        8th        9th        10th

 

Points    10          8            7           6           5           4           3           2          1            1

 

 

**Note – If a rider is placed in the top ten places with more than one horse, Points will only be awarded for the highest place. Points will not be re-allocated down the line

 

In the event of a tie for first place at a specific Grand Prix League Round, points will be awarded for first place (ie: 10 each) as this is deemed as a win to both combinations. Therefore points to be allocated to the third place combination are for third place.
