Multiple deaths of horses across Ireland have been reported over the past few weeks due to the intake of Sycamore seeds, also known as ‘helicopter seeds’. Dr Ursula Fogarty, Head of Pathology at the Irish Equine Centre highlights the dangers and symptoms of the fatal Atypical Myopathy disease and what owners can do to protect their horses.
