Former Show Jumping World Champion Dermott Lennon has been confirmed as host of the final Masterclass demonstration at the Emerald International Irish Masters Show. (Friday 14th to Sunday 16th November 2014)

Dermott Lennon was part of the Irish team that won their first European Championship title at Aachen in 2001 riding Liscalgot and a year later the Banbridge native captured the Individual World Championship gold medal at Jerez, Spain, again with the mare Liscalgot and he remains the only Irish rider to be crowned World Champion.

The Dermott Lennon Masterclass will take place this Sunday November 16th at 6pm and is followed at 8pm by the €15,000 Emerald International Irish Masters 1.50m Grand Prix.

The €55,000 Irish Masters kicks off at Emerald this Friday with Eventing and Show Jumping Masterclasses combined with top class show jumping action right through the weekend.

The Irish Masters at Emerald in Co Kildare promises to be a thrilling three days of equestrian sport, with restaurants, bars and trade stalls open throughout the event. Daily adult tickets for the Irish Masters at Emerald cost €20, Children €15 (under 3 years free). A family day pass for 2 adults and 2 children (or 1 adult and 3 children) costs €50
